Privacy policy
GlideNest is a free ServiceNow learning website. You do not need an account, and we do not ask for your name, email or anything else to use it. This page explains the little data we do collect, and how to say no to it.
The short version
- No sign-up, no ads, and we never sell or share your data for advertising.
- Analytics only run if you select Accept on the cookie banner.
- Your lesson progress and settings stay in your own browser. We never see them.
- You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
Analytics, only with your consent
If you accept, we use two tools to understand how the site is used, so we can improve the lessons:
- Google Analytics counts visits and shows which pages are read, for how long, and where visitors come from, such as a search engine or a link.
- Microsoft Clarity shows where people click and scroll, as heatmaps and anonymised session replays, so we can spot confusing parts of a lesson. Clarity masks text you type into fields.
These tools collect technical information such as pages visited, time on page, clicks, scrolling, your browser and device type, and your approximate country or city based on your IP address. We use it only in aggregate, to decide what to improve. We have advertising features turned off. Both tools set cookies on your device, listed below, and process data under their own privacy policies:Google andMicrosoft.
If you select Decline, neither tool is loaded, and no analytics cookies are set.

The GlideNest items are stored in your browser's local storage, not sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Your choices and rights
- Change your analytics choice at any time withCookie settings, at the bottom of every page.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works fully without them.
- Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what data is held about you and to have it deleted. Because we do not collect your name or email, we usually cannot link analytics data to you, but you can still contact us and we will help where we can.
Feedback you send us
If you use the Feedback button, report a mistake, or tell us a lesson was not helpful, we receive your message, the type of feedback, the page you were on, and your email address only if you choose to enter one. It is delivered to our inbox byWeb3Forms, which keeps a copy for up to 30 days. We use it only to improve GlideNest and to reply when you ask us to. Please do not include passwords, instance URLs or other confidential details from your workplace.
A simple 👍 or 👎 on its own is not sent to us, unless you accepted analytics, in which case it is counted there.
Links to other websites
Lessons link to other sites, such as ServiceNow's documentation and our jobs website. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you leave GlideNest.
Children
GlideNest is meant for adults learning ServiceNow for work and is not aimed at children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, for example by adding accounts in the future, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
